Kellogg Community College gets a mention in an article posted this morning on the website of the Holland Sentinel, which highlights “the top players and teams to watch this spring during the high school baseball season.”

Of the five players listed, the first is Keith Phillips, a left-handed Hamilton outfielder and pitcher. The Sentinel writes:

“Is there anything this senior cannot do? He is the best hitter in school history, after hitting .511 last year, with a patient eye and a powerful bat. Oh yeah, he can pitch a little too and will be the Hawkeyes’ ace this season.”

The article notes that Phillips will be attending — and playing baseball at — Kellogg Community College this fall. Welcome Keith!
