  • The Battle Creek Enquirer posted an article highlighting yesterday’s historical marker dedication ceremony commemorating the founding of Battle Creek Community College — now Kellogg Community College — in 1956. The ceremony was held yesterday afternoon on the north lawn of Battle Creek Central High School.
  • Tekonsha artist Vee Kalnins posted a preview of his photography and sculpture exhibit “The Way I See It” on his website, Art in the Eye. The exhibit opens today in the Eleanor R. & Robert A. DeVries Gallery in the Davidson Visual and Performing Arts Center on Kellogg Community College’s North Avenue campus, and will officially kick off with an opening reception from 4 to 6 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 18, at the Davidson Center.
