The priority processing deadline for students applying for financial aid to attend Kellogg Community College for the Spring 2013 semester is noon Friday, Nov. 30, 2012.

By submitting all requested documentation with correct and complete information by this date, students allow for adequate processing time in order to determine eligibility by the beginning of the spring semester.

The process for requesting financial aid through Kellogg Community College is the same for all types of financial aid assistance. Students should follow these steps:

1. The student should file the 2012-13 Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) – available online at www.fafsa.ed.gov – using 2011 federal tax return information and their W-2s.

2. The college(s) listed on the FAFSA will receive the information electronically.

3. New students will receive a letter in the U.S. mail from Kellogg Community College explaining the process. Previous and current students should check their KCC email for information about additional information required to process their financial aid.
