KCC’s women’s basketball team falls to KVCC 42-73 at home

The Kellogg Community College women’s basketball team had another rough game Monday, falling to Kalamazoo Valley Community College 42-73 at home in the Miller Gym.

Sophomore forward Janeesa Jamierson (Battle Creek Central) and freshman guard Cherese Vasser (Southeastern) led the Bruins on offense with 12 points apiece, while Jamierson and fellow sophomore forward Malika Flenorl (Lakeview) each pulled down seven rebounds.

The Bruins play next at 5:30 p.m. tomorrow, Wednesday, Jan. 9, at home in KCC’s Miller Gym against Grand Rapids Community College. Admission is free.
