Here are some reminders of upcoming events related to Kellogg Community College.

Scheduled for today, Tuesday, March 12, 2013:

  • For the second day in a row, the Kellogg Community College softball team will play Claflin University at 10 a.m. in Panama City, Fla., as part of their annual spring trip down south. They’ll play against Messiah College at noon.

Scheduled for Wednesday, March 13, 2013:

  • Miller College will host a Transfer Student Information Table from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. in the North Walkway of Kellogg Community College’s North Avenue campus.
  • The Kellogg Community College softball team will play Messiah College at 10 a.m. in Panama City, Fla., as part of their annual spring trip down south. They’ll play Husson University at 2 p.m.

Scheduled for Thursday, March 14, 2013:

  • The Healthy Choices Leadership Organization’s Human Trafficking Workshop will run from 1 to 3 p.m. in the auditorium of the Davidson Visual and Performing Arts Center on Kellogg Community College’s North Avenue campus. Click here for more information about the event from a post on this blog.
  • Kellogg Community College Secretary of Support Services Sara Reed will present a free Academic Workshop titled “Social Media” from 2 to 3 p.m. in room 103 of the Ohm Information Technology Center on KCC’s North Avenue campus. Click here for more information about this and future Academic Workshops at the college (the link will take you to a PDF including workshop descriptions).

Scheduled for Friday, March 15, 2013:

  • Kellogg Community College will mail financial aid refund checks for the second disbursement of single-semester loans.
  • Kellogg Community College will host a Western Michigan University Transfer Tour at WMU in Kalamazoo. The visit is free for students and lunch is included.
  • Kellogg Community College will present the comedic musical “The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee” at 7:30 p.m. in the Binda Theatre on KCC’s North Avenue campus. Click here for more information about the production from a post on this blog.

  • Kellogg Community College will depart the college’s North Avenue campus at 9 a.m. for a field trip to Chicago to see performances by the Alvin Ailey American Dance Theater.
  • The Kellogg Community College baseball team will play Parkland College at 2:30 p.m. in Ohio. They’ll play Sinclair Community College at 5 p.m.

  • Kellogg Community College will display art created by the college’s Arts and Communication faculty members as part of the KCC Faculty Biennial Art Exhibition in the Davidson Visual and Performing Arts Center on the college’s North Avenue campus through Friday, March 22. Click here for more information about the exhibition from a post on this blog.
  • Kellogg Community College’s Service Learning office is collecting donated books for distribution to Battle Creek community schools and organizations from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. through March 29 as part of the Read n’ Give program. Donations of new or gently used books may be dropped off in the Service Learning office in room 139L of the Severin Building.
