Calling all parade lovers! As a sponsor of the upcoming Cereal Festival in Battle Creek, Kellogg Community College will have an entry in the Grand Cereal Parade on Friday evening, June 7, and we’re looking for volunteers (staff, students, alumni) to represent KCC by walking in the parade.
Our entry will consist of Blaze, our mascot, and as many KCC employees and students as we can recruit to walk with him, waving and passing out candy along the route. Spouses and children are welcome to walk, too; the more, the merrier.
This is a splendid opportunity to show off the people of KCC and our strong Bruin pride to our greater Battle Creek community!
If you’re interested, wear your favorite KCC shirt or hat and join us by 5:40 p.m. June 7. The parade entries will be staging in the Davenport University parking lots near Van Buren Street and Washington Avenue and the parade will begin at 6 p.m. If you have questions, contact Eric Greene at greenee@kellogg.edu.
