Women’s soccer falls 1-2 to Lake Michigan College

The Kellogg Community College women’s soccer team lost their second home game in as many weeks Wednesday to conference opponent Lake Michigan College, falling 2-1 and bringing their overall record to 1-2.

Sophomore forward Taylor Underhill, of Paw Paw, pictured above during a game against Jackson College last week, scored the Bruins’ lone goal, while freshman goalkeeper Sarah Ward, of Quincy, had 11 saves.

The Bruins’ next game starts at 1 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 7, against Cincinnati State Technical and Community College at home on the soccer field on KCC’s North Avenue campus in Battle Creek. Admission is free.
