Community invited to KCC Night with the Bombers

Kellogg Community College invites KCC students, alumni, employees and fans to KCC Night as the Battle Creek Bombers take on the Kalamazoo Growlers in the Bombers’ home opener May 29.

The baseball game will be held at C.O. Brown Stadium inside Bailey Park, 1392 Capital Ave. NE, Battle Creek. Gates will open at 6:05 p.m. and KCC President Dr. Dennis Bona will throw the ceremonial first pitch at 7:05 6:45 p.m.

“After a long winter, we hope people from across the community will take an evening to relax and celebrate with us at the Bombers game,” said KCC spokesman Eric Greene. “Thousands of people in the area have an affiliation with KCC as a student, alumnus or employee and KCC Night at the ball park offers us a chance to connect with each other in a fun way.”

KCC student DeQuan Perry, Jr., will sing the National Anthem, and special KCC giveaways and activities will be held throughout the game, including games for kids. KCC admissions representatives also will be on site to answer questions about the College.

Tickets for KCC Night can be purchased at the gate or by calling 269-962-0735. Current KCC students and employees with valid College IDs can get a discounted ticket package for $8, which includes general admission, a hot dog, chips and a bottled water.
