Bruin Blast, Constitution Day events are today

Kellogg Community College’s first-ever Community College Week continues today with Bruin Blast from 10:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. and Constitution Day activities beginning at 11 a.m.

Special guest Judge John Hallacy will be here for a Constitution Quiz Show at 11 a.m., 12:30 p.m.and 1:30 p.m. in the Student Center and will lead special presentations at 11:30 a.m. and 1 p.m. in the Student Center.

Also, in keeping with today’s theme of “Remember,” a KCC archives display will run from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. in the Kellogg Room.

Constitution Day events are free and open to the public; all events — including Bruin Blast — are free to KCC students with a valid KCC ID.

Additional welcome-back events for students similar to Bruin Blast will be held at KCC’s regional centers on the following dates:

  • 4:30 to 7 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 18, at the Grahl Center in Coldwater. This event will be held in conjunction with the Grahl Center’s 20th Anniversary Celebration.
  • 4:30 to 6 p.m. Tuesday, Sept. 23, at the Fehsenfeld Center in Hastings.
  • 4:30 to 6 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 24, at the Eastern Academic Center in Albion.
  • 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 25, at the Regional Manufacturing Technology Center in Battle Creek.
