Kellogg Community College’s Nonprofit Education and Training Institute (NETI) will host a free networking event next week for individuals and organizations interested in grant writing.

The Grant Writers Networking event, presented in conjunction with the Nonprofit Network in Jackson, will include a convening of the Mid-Michigan Grant Writers Network and will be held from 8:30 to 10 a.m. Tuesday, Jan. 26, at the W.K. Kellogg Foundation Headquarters, 1 Michigan Ave. East, Battle Creek.

The event will explore the practice of grant seeking, with a focus on where to look for grants and how to expand searches to find new possibilities. Professional grant writing consultants will be on hand to provide insights and information and to discuss developing relationships with funders.

The Grant Writers Networking event is free and open to the public, but registration is required. To register, visit http://nonprofnetwork.org/event-2112459.

Registration will be granted on a first-come, first-served basis.

For more information about the event, contact the NETI offices at 269-965-4134 or ll-info@kellogg.edu.
