This regular, part-time support staff position reports to the Director, Regional Manufacturing Technology Center.

This position will work approximately 1,560 hours per year/30 hours per week. Primary schedule will be Monday through Thursday, afternoon and evening hours. Work hours could fluctuate at times between our operational hours of 8 a.m. and 8 p.m., and the schedule is subject to change as determined by the Director.

Kellogg Community College is located in Battle Creek, Michigan, a community of approximately 54,000 people. Leisure activities, natural resources and learning opportunities provide a foundation for residents. Located along the I-94 interstate, Battle Creek is within 30 minutes of Kalamazoo, 60 minutes of Lansing and Grand Rapids and within three hours of Detroit, Chicago and Indianapolis.

Minimum qualifications:

  1. Associate degree or successful completion of equivalent post-secondary credits from an accredited college/university
  2. Ability to work with MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint or similar level applications at an intermediate level
  3. Minimum two (2) years of experience in an active, multi-tasked automated work environment

Preferred but not required:

  1. Associate degree or higher from an accredited college/university
  2. Experience working in a community college environment
