Here are the Kellogg Community College volleyball Players of the Week for the week of Sept. 28, from Head KCC Volleyball Coach Tom VanWienen.

Emily Delmotte #21

A Marshall High School graduate, Delmotte’s high school honors include All-State, All-Conference, captain, MVP and Academic All-State. Delmotte’s parents are Pete and Ann Delmotte, and her hobbies include working and hanging out with friends.

Kirby Frodge #18

A Calhoun Christian High School graduate, Frodge’s high school honors include First Team All-Conference, All-City, captain and MVP. Frodge’s parents are Barry and Kathy Frodge, and her hobbies include swimming and bike riding.

Riley Rakocy #10

A Quincy High School graduate from Coldwater, Rakocy’s high school honors include All-Conference, Dream Team and academic honors. Rakocy’s parents are Courtney Dean and Chad Rakocy, and her hobbies include volleyball and shopping.

The volleyball team’s current overall record for the season so far is 11-3; the team’s conference record is 6-3. The team’s next match starts at 6:30 p.m. tonight, Thursday, Sept. 28, at home the Battle Creek Central Fieldhouse, 162 Champion St., Battle Creek, against conference opponent Jackson College.
