UPDATE: A third location has been added to the Oct. 27 Bruins Give Back date! Volunteers can also serve at the Habitat for Humanity ReStore!

The second Bruins Give Back volunteer service event of Kellogg Community College’s Fall 2017 semester will be held from 9 a.m. to noon Friday, Oct. 27, at two locations in Battle Creek.

A campus-wide service initiative of the College’s Service-Learning office, Bruins Gives Back brings KCC students and employees together in service through volunteering at locations in and around Battle Creek. Volunteers for the Oct. 27 event will help Kingman Museum prepare for the following day’s Spooky Science Saturday or prepare packages of donated shoes for children in need for Operation Christmas Child on KCC’s North Avenue campus.

Bruins Give Back is held from 9 a.m. to noon on Fridays up to three times per semester, and past events have been located at elementary schools, community gardens and at various locations on campus at KCC, to name a few.

All KCC students and employees are invited to serve at this and future Bruins Give Back events, and can sign up online via the form available at https://goo.gl/forms/2Zuvv0bvR3hA2wNx2.

The third and final Fall 2017 Bruins Give Back date is Friday, Dec. 1.
