Kellogg Community College and the Battle Creek Community Foundation’s Saga Presents initiative are partnering to offer an evening of storytelling in Battle Creek in December.

The KCC and Saga Presents “Recalculating! Storytelling Show & Reception” event will begin at 7 p.m. Tuesday, Dec. 5. at the Binda Performing Arts Center, on campus at 450 North Ave., Battle Creek. During the event, local participants will share stories about times they thought they had a plan but changed directions with interesting results.

Tickets are $7 and can be purchased at the door.

Eric Greene, director of Public Information and Marketing at KCC, said as an educational institution the College has played a role in countless stories of people who have achieved, risen to the occasion and overcome obstacles.

“For 61 years, KCC students have studied and excelled at the college as they calculated or recalculated their academic and career paths,” Greene said. “Because of that rich history, KCC is delighted to host the ‘Recalculating!’ storytelling event to provide another way for individuals to express their stories.”
