Kellogg Community College’s men’s basketball team lost its latest home game 83-75 against conference opponent Muskegon Community College.

Leading the Bruins on the court were Daleon Graham (Battle Creek/Lakeview), who had 23 points, 7 rebounds and 2 blocks; Khylen Watkins (Battle Creek/Harper Creek), who had 21 points, 3 rebounds and 3 assists; Teshan Godwin (South Bend/John Adams High School), who had 9 points, 3 rebounds and 1 assist; and Justin Knight (Oak Park/Oak Park High School), who had 7 points, 4 rebounds and 3 assists.

Head Men’s Basketball Coach Ben Reed said the Bruins had a good game, but came up short in the end.

“Great effort overall, guys stayed engaged throughout the game just let the last few minuets slip away,” Reed said. “Have to keep our heads up and come out Saturday eager to play KVCC.”

The Bruins’ next home game starts at 3 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 13, against conference rival Kalamazoo Valley Community College at the Battle Creek Central Fieldhouse, 162 Champion St., Battle Creek.
