KCC women’s basketball falls 92-34 to Muskegon Community College

KCC's 2017-18 women's basketball team.

Kellogg Community College’s women’s basketball team lost its latest away game 92-34 Saturday against conference opponent Muskegon Community College.

Leading the Bruins on the court were Destiny Kincaide (Chicago, IL/Hyde Park Academy), who had 11 points, and Dareka Clayton (Battle Creek/Battle Creek Central), who had 10 points and 10 rebounds.

“We did not come out with the same energy and focus as we had Wednesday and we couldn’t do that versus the #18 ranked team,” said Head Women’s Basketball Coach Dic Doumanian. “We’ll use our week off to rest up and work hard and be ready for our next home game Saturday! Go Bruins!”

The Bruins’ next home game starts at 1 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 17, against conference opponent Mid-Michigan Community College at the Battle Creek Central Fieldhouse, 162 Champion St., Battle Creek.
