The Kellogg Community College softball team is on a seven-game winning streak after wins including doubleheader sweeps over three conference opponents in the past week.
After splitting a doubleheader with Lake Michigan College last Thursday, KCC’s Bruins won doubleheaders against Muskegon Community College Saturday, Grand Rapids Community College Sunday and Ancilla College Tuesday.
It’s a late but welcome peak for the team as it heads into the final week or so of regular season play.
“We are rolling, that’s for sure,” KCC’s Head Softball Coach Mike Miller said. “I’m impressed with our consistent approach at the plate. The ladies are focused and doing a great job.”
The latest results bring the Bruins’ overall record for the season so far to 14-16 and the team’s conference record to 13-9.
