KCC men’s basketball falls 75-68 to Mid-Michigan Community College

The Kellogg Community College men’s basketball team lost its latest home game 75-68 to conference opponent Mid-Michigan Community College on Wednesday in the Miller Gym.

Leading the Bruins on the court were sophomore Davian Phillips, who had 20 points; sophomore Tishaun Cooper, who had 16 points and 10 rebounds; and sophomore Omar Tabb Jr., who had 9 rebounds.

The recent loss brings the Bruins’ overall record for the season so far to 11-13; the team’s conference record to 6-9.

The team plays next starting at 3 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 23, against conference opponent Jackson College in Jackson. The Bruins’ last home game of the season starts at 7:30 p.m. Monday, Feb. 25, against conference opponent Grand Rapids Community College in the Miller Gym.
