Kellogg Community College is inviting Battle Creek Bombers fans to support students and root for the home team with a night of baseball, giveaways, prizes and more during Make It a Bombers Night with KCC on Aug. 1.
The Bombers will play the Madison Mallards while the KCC Foundation is spotlighted as the nonprofit of the night. Portions of special ticket package sales will go to the Foundation’s mission of providing scholarships for students.
The event will begin at 7:05 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 1, at the Bombers’ C.O. Brown Stadium, located at 189 Bridge St. in Battle Creek. Special ticket packages include admission to the game and:
- A reserved bleacher seat and a Bombers hat for $9
- A pre-game tailgate buffet with food and drinks for $15
- The buffet and three beers for $20
The Bombers hat is only available at the $9 level.
There will also be a raffle for prizes, including four tickets to the Aug. 30 Detroit Tigers game against the Minnesota Twins, three credit hours at KCC and more. Fans will also be able to participate in games with Blaze, KCC’s mascot.
The first 300 KCC ticket package holders to arrive at the stadium will receive additional giveaways from the College.
“We invite employees, students, friends and alumni of Kellogg Community College to help cheer for the Battle Creek Bombers and support KCC students in their educational goals,” KCC Foundation Director Teresa Durham said. “Scholarships truly open doors and change lives for our students.”
