KCC Music Program faculty hosting Music in Quarantine video performance series through May 1

Members of the Music Program faculty at Kellogg Community College are hoping to bring some joy to community members this week with a series of video performances posted online each day through May 1.

KCC’s Music in Quarantine video performance series kicked off Monday with a performance of the Archies’ “Sugar, Sugar” by guitar instructor Paul Freeburn, pictured above. View Freeburn’s performance embedded at the bottom of this post or click here to see Freeburn’s performance on YouTube.

New video performances will be available at 5 p.m. on the following dates:

  • Tuesday, April 28: Dr. Gerald J. Case-Blanchard, baritone
  • Wednesday, April 29: Dr. Mark Wells, pianist
  • Thursday, April 30: Carmen Bell, soprano
  • Friday, May 1: Dr. Katharyne Salo, flute

Videos will be available on the Performing Arts at Kellogg Community College Facebook page and on the Performing Arts at KCC YouTube channel.
