Kellogg Community College will celebrate the accomplishments of 961 candidates for graduation Thursday via the College’s first-ever Virtual Commencement.

The centerpiece of the virtual event is a dedicated website at alwaysabruin.com, which will go live at 7 p.m. tomorrow, May 28, featuring video remarks from KCC President Dr. Adrien Bennings, a downloadable 2020 Commencement Program and individualized pages recognizing each of this year’s candidates for graduation that can be downloaded, printed and shared via social media.

In addition to the commencement website, Dr. Bennings’ remarks will premiere on KCC’s Facebook page and KCC’s YouTube channel at 7 p.m., where viewers can comment and react to the remarks in real time.

Graduates, friends, family and fans are encouraged to participate in the May 28 celebrations online, commenting congratulatory remarks and tagging social media posts with the #alwaysabruin hashtag.

“We are tremendously proud of our graduating Bruins, who have remained steadfast in their studies and focused in achieving their goals at Kellogg Community College,” said Dr. Adrien Bennings, president of KCC. “We applaud this year’s Class of 2020 and we invite all graduates, as well as their friends, family and members of the public, to join us in the celebration.”
