Road closures could cause traffic delays for commencement

A reminder from Kellogg Community College administration regarding the commencement breakfast and ceremony on May 10:

“City streets in the area of Capital and Michigan Avenues are closed in downtown Battle Creek. This impacts the flow of traffic on M-66 and Capital Avenue coming into the downtown area as well as the driving direction to take for both McCamly Plaza Hotel (where the breakfast will be held) and the W.K. Kellogg Auditorium (where the commencement ceremony will be held). The traffic back-up at 8 a.m. is particularly significant. Review your driving directions and give yourself plenty of time to arrive at both events.”

Those attending the commencement breakfast and ceremony are advised to plan ahead to compensate for traffic delays. Those attending the commencement breakfast are also advised to arrive early, as food will be served at 8 a.m. and those arriving later could miss out.
