The Battle Creek Enquirer has posted a brief reminding the community that Friday is the last day to drop off books for needy children in the area. The post notes that children’s books can be dropped off through Friday at Kellogg Community College’s Student Center as well as at HandsOn Battle Creek, at 34 W. Jackson St., Tower 4.
The Enquirer writes that HandsOn and the Community Literacy Collaborative are hosting the book drive as part of activities associated with March is Reading Month and that the books will be distributed through the Food Bank of South Central Michigan and other organizations that serve needy local families.
