KCC in the news: April 23, 2012

  • MLive.com’s Flint News section highlights the selection of the University of Michigan-Flint as the first to receive the “Engaged Campus of the Year” designation from the group Michigan Campus Compact. Kellogg Community College is listed as being among the nominees and was selected by Michigan Campus Compact as an honorable mention.
  • The Battle Creek Enquirer quotes Kellogg Community College President Dennis Bona in an article about the Calhoun Race Impact Alliance and how college facilities will be made available to the CRIA for use by July 1.
  • President Bona is also quoted in a recent article from Capital News Service, which highlights Kellogg Community College for its open entry/open exit program in a post titled “Community colleges innovate to stay competitive.”
