Siena Heights University celebrated Arbor Day and their 20-year partnership with Kellogg Community College this afternoon by planting an ornamental tree outside the Lane-Thomas Building on KCC’s Battle Creek campus, where Siena Heights’ Degree Completion office is located.
The tree was donated by the Brickman Group landscaping company and was installed in the presence of representatives from the group, the Battle Creek Chamber of Commerce and staff from KCC and Siena Heights.
From a press release from Siena Heights University highlighting the tree-planting ceremony this afternoon:
“The University’s relationship with Kellogg Community College allows KCC students and nontraditional students to continue their education on the same campus. The student can earn a bachelor’s or master’s degree in familiar surroundings. Some benefits of the degree completion program include: evening, weekend and online classes, personalized advising and transfer-friendly policies.”
