  • A pair of final mentions in the Battle Creek Enquirer come in reporter Nick Buckley’s article highlighting the Kellogg Community College softball and baseball teams. “The Kellogg Community College softball season is likely to end on Wednesday, unless the Lady Bruins get a sweep and a lot of help,” Buckley writes. I feel like, as a program, we have a better understanding of where we need to go and how to get there. Of the first-ranked baseball team, Buckley writes, “Sitting at 18-6 in the Michigan Community College Athletic Association, the Kellogg Community College baseball team has put itself in position to win its seventh league title in school history. … Last season, the Bruins became the first team in the regional’s history to win the tournament as the lowest seed. They went on to the World Series where they finished fourth in the country.”
