  • The Battle Creek Enquirer also posted an article highlighting the seasons of the Kellogg Community College baseball and softball teams. Of the baseball team, Enquirer reporter Nick Buckley wrote, “KCC finished its season with a 35-23 overall record and as the Michigan Community College Athletic Association regular season champions — the seventh conference title for the program. And at least seven sophomores will continue their collegiate baseball careers at four-year institutions after helping the Bruins to the 2012 league title and a fourth-place national finish in 2011.” Of the softball team, Buckley wrote, “The Kellogg Community College softball team suffered through a difficult season, but can take solace in that it will return eight players from a squad that stayed competitive despite their record.”
