KCC in the news: May 21, 2012

  • The W.K. Kellogg Foundation has posted a video highlighting the Legacy Scholars program, which will see its first round of graduates this year. The program offers eligible high school students a scholarship to Kellogg Community College.
  • The Battle Creek Enquirer posted a feature about dual-enrolled students, which quotes a number of area high school students that have taken classes at Kellogg Community College, as well as KCC President Dennis Bona and Meredith Stravers, director of admissions at the college.
  • Kellogg Community College is also featured in three opinion/reader submitted articles posted on the Battle Creek Enquirer’s website this weekend, including a reader submitted post about the American Association of University Women (AAUW) of Battle Creek sponsoring two KCC students to attend a women’s leadership conference at the University of Maryland; a thank you letter regarding the Children’s Water Festival, which was held on KCC’s Battle Creek campus; and another thank you letter to the organizers of the Recycle Rama event held last month, which was also held on the college’s Battle Creek campus.
