Here are some reminders of things going on at Kellogg Community College.
- Today is the first day of the Horizons at KCC program, which kicked off at around 8:30 a.m. at Fremont Elementary School. Nine kids (pictured above) going into first grade rode in on a bus and excitedly made their way off and into their classroom, where they started the day with breakfast before moving on to learning activities. Click here for more information about the Horizons at KCC program, which is the first of its kind in the state.
- Today also is the first summer day on campus for high school students from the Upward Bound Program, a pre-college initiative designed to prepare low-income/first-generation high school students for success in higher education. Click here for more information about the Upward Bound Program.
- Fall registration continues on campus and online. Click here for more information.
