The registration deadline for the Volleyball Camps for girls hosted by Kellogg Community College’s Lifelong Learning Department is this Friday, July 13.
The camps will be taught by Kellogg Community College coaches and student athletes and will take place in the Miller Gymnasium on the college’s Battle Creek campus, located at 450 North Ave.
A registration form, release for medical treatment and release and waiver of liability must be completed for each camper by a parent or legal guardian prior to the camp registration deadline.

VOLLEYBALL SKILLS CAMPS FOR GIRLS
Camps include intensive training on fundamentals, team systems and offensive and defensive strategies. Campers will be placed into groups of similar skill levels to ensure the most improvement, challenge and fun during the camp experience.
Campers should arrive dressed to play volleyball (meaning gym shoes, shorts and a T-shirt) and bring a water bottle, lunch and a snack each day.
Session 1: All Skill Levels, Grades 5-12 ($125)
9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Monday-Thursday, July 16-19
Session 1 will teach and help develop skills to play at a higher level with a focus on passing, serving, setting and attacking.
Session 2: Advanced Skill Level, Grades 7-12 ($125)
9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Monday-Thursday, July 23-26
Session 2 is set up to prepare athletes for their upcoming tryouts with an emphasis on passing, serving, serve receive and specific positions including attacker, setter and defensive specialist.
Session 3: Team Camp, High School Teams ($200 per team)
9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Monday-Thursday, July 30-Aug. 2

Enhance your team’s ability to work together during the season through this unique team camp experience.
