  • WMUK posted a brief article about Kellogg Community College seeking a renewal of its millage this fall, including a link to the previous Battle Creek Enquirer story and noting that the college “has a long list of projects they want to tackle if voters approve the renewal of a property tax to pay for capital projects.”
  • The Livingston Daily Press and Argus posted an article highlighting Jake Jessen of Hartland, who during his senior year earned All-County Player of the Year honors in baseball. The Daily says Jessen, who will play for Kellogg Community College next year, “hit a team-best .398 while leading off for the Eagles and pacing the team in hits (51), doubles (11), runs (44) steals (15) and on-base average (.493). … On the mound he was 8-2 with a 2.05 earned-run average and 75 strikeouts in 65 innings pitched. … Jessen was one of three county players named to the all-state first team.”
