  • As the Battle Creek Enquirer notes in an article posted last night, “As competition ends this morning for the 20th World Hot Air Balloon Championship, some fun starts tonight. A festival will be held from 3 p.m. to 10 p.m. tonight and Saturday at Kellogg Community College with food and official memorabilia vendors, a car show, a reptile exhibit, music and balloons.”
  • The Battle Creek Enquirer posted an article highlighting the expansion of Janesville Acoustics in Battle Creek, which says training for the company will be done at Kellogg Community College’s Regional Manufacturing Technology Center. Battle Creek Mayor Susan Baldwin is quoted in the article as saying, “We have such a well-developed training program with the RMTC and we understand what their employers’ needs are.” The article also quotes RMTC Director Laura McGuire.
