The Kellogg Community College Foundation’s Bruin Scholarship Open was held today at Binder Park Golf Course in Battle Creek. The daylong event is the principal fundraising event for the organization, which provides scholarships to students and grants to Kellogg Community College departments to enhance educational initiatives at the college.
This afternoon we posted a photo gallery of more than 50 images featuring the teams that participated in this year’s event to Kellogg Community College’s Facebook page. The team pictured above includes KCC Athletics Director Tom Shaw (far left) and the college’s head baseball coach Eric Laskovy (second from the right).

Last year’s Bruin Open provided 25 student scholarships through money raised from golfers and sponsorship donations from area businesses and organizations.
