Kellogg Community College will host an open house from 4 to 6 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 26, at its Eastern Academic Center, 14055 26 Mile Road, Albion.
The open house will allow visitors to learn more about the EAC as well as the Marshall Alternative High School, which last year began holding classes daily at the EAC. Of the 103 high school students who attended last year, about 30 percent also took KCC classes to earn college credits while satisfying high school requirements. Currently, the EAC serves about 250 college students each semester.
The Sept. 26 open house coincides with the EAC’s Bruin Blast, a fun event that welcomes students to the fall semester, and functions as an “After Hours Mixer” for the Greater Albion Chamber of Commerce.
