  • Community Voices includes a post previewing Kellogg Community College English professor Elizabeth Kerlikowske’s upcoming visit to Kalamazoo Valley Community College to be KVCC’s first guest for their “About Writing” visiting writers series. The post says Kerlikowske will speak about her work at a 10 a.m. craft talk and will read from her writing at 2:15 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 4. In the video above, Kerlikowske reads her poem “Ars Poetica” at KCC in March.
  • Glen Oaks Community College has issued a press release highlighting their 22nd Annual College Night, which says the event will include admissions representatives from more than 50 colleges, universities and military agencies. Kellogg Community College will be participating in the event, which is scheduled to begin at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday, Oct. 9.
  • The National Junior College Athletic Association website includes a post about the Kellogg Community College women’s volleyball team’s defeat of Ancilla College last Thursday, Sept. 20. Ancilla coach Lana Singleton is quoted in the post as saying, “Kellogg is a good team, they cover the court well and don’t back down. … Kellogg came into the game ready to play and that they did. My hat goes off to them.”
