The Kellogg Community College women’s volleyball team fell in three sets to Lansing Community College last night, with scores of 23-25, 19-25 and 16-25. It was the team’s second match against LCC; they won the first in five sets in September.
The team dedicated their game to raising autism awareness, and wore special shirts during warm-ups to support the cause. They also accepted donations at the door, helping to raise $168.05 at the door for the Kalamazoo/Battle Creek Autism Society.
The team plays next against Kalamazoo Valley Community College beginning at 6:30 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 4, in Kalamazoo. It will be their second match of the season against KVCC; the Bruins fell to the Cougars in four sets in a home game last month.
