KCC in the news: Monday, Nov. 5, 2012

The big news related to Kellogg Community College this past weekend was the men’s basketball team’s victory home and season opener against Delta College on Saturday afternoon.

The Bruins won the tip-off and led early, staying ahead of their opponents the whole game until winning it 76-68. Click here to view a brief article about the game from MLive.com, and stay tuned to this blog and KCC’s Facebook page for more details and a photo gallery from the game.

Also in the news — in case you hadn’t heard — is tomorrow’s election. Among the issues that will be put before voters in Kellogg Community College’s taxing district will be the renewal of the College’s capital millage at a lesser rate than the College’s current millage.

To find out more about the KCC’s millage proposal, visit the College’s Millage Renewal Information blog at www.kellogg.edu/renewal.
