  • The Battle Creek Enquirer posted an article highlighting the upcoming “interactive multi-sensory” holiday event Make We Merry, which the article says began in 1972 in the  the student union at Kellogg Community College. The article says the event was inspired because the “Battle Creek Community Chorus was tired of singing Handel’s ‘Messiah,'” which is slightly ironic in that KCC is performing the latter in Monroe on Dec. 2 and in Coldwater on Dec. 8.
