Kellogg Community College will present a free Academic Workshop about social media from 2 to 3 p.m. Thursday, March 14.
The workshop will take place in room 103 of the Ohm Information Technology Center on KCC’s North Avenue campus. The purpose of the workshop is to help students better understand social media and how it can be used to assist in an academic setting.
Social platforms discussed will include Facebook, Twitter, Google+, Pinterest and YouTube, along with other emerging technologies.
Presenting the workshop will be Sara Reed, who is a member of the Support Services Department at KCC.
There is no fee or registration required for this workshop and it is open to any students who wish to attend. To learn more about the workshop, please call or visit the Support Services office at 269-965-4150.
