The deadline for graduating high school seniors to apply for a Kellogg Community College Foundation Trustee Scholarship for the 2013-14 academic year at KCC is 5 p.m. Thursday, March 28.
The KCC Trustee Scholarship, which equals the cost of tuition and fees for four semesters for up to 64 credits at the college, is available to graduating high school seniors from within the college’s district. Applicants must be nominated by a representative from their high school administrative or counseling department and approved by the KCC Foundation’s Board of Directors.
Eligible students must have a cumulative high school GPA of 3.2 or higher and must be a graduating senior from one of the following area high schools: Albion, Athens, Battle Creek Academy, Battle Creek Central, Calhoun Christian School, Calhoun Community High School, Harper Creek, Homer, Lakeview, Mar Lee, Marshall, Marshall Academy, Pennfield, St. Philip Catholic Central, Tekonsha or Union City.

Applications for the scholarship are not available online, as they are provided only to those students who have been nominated for the award by their participating school. Students who would like to be nominated are encouraged to contact their high school administrative and/or counseling departments.
