- Western Michigan University Admissions will host a Transfer Student Information Table from noon to 2 p.m. in the North Walkway on KCC’s North Avenue campus.
Scheduled for Tuesday, March 26, 2013:
- Davenport University will host a Transfer Student Information Table from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. in the North Walkway on KCC’s North Avenue campus.
- English professor Elizabeth Kerlikowske and her daughter, English instructor Rose Swartz, will participate in a mother/daughter poetry reading from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. in the lobby of the new Hub area on KCC’s North Avenue campus.
- The baseball team will play Grand Rapids Community College in a double header beginning at 2 p.m. at home in Bailey Park in Battle Creek. The games are the team’s first home games of the season, and admission is free. Click here to view the team’s spring schedule in a post on this blog.

- Student honor society Phi Theta Kappa will induct new members in a ceremony beginning at 6 p.m. in the Binda Theatre on KCC’s North Avenue campus.

- KCC’s Service Learning office is collecting donated books for distribution to Battle Creek community schools and organizations from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. through March 29 as part of the Read n’ Give program. Donations of new or gently used books may be dropped off in the Service Learning office in room 139L of the Severin Building.
Coming soon:
- There will be no classes for students Monday, April 1, through Saturday, April 6, which is Spring Break.
- Upcoming financial aid deadlines include the Spring Only Loan Request deadline, the Summer Priority Processing (FAFSA) deadline and the Spring SAP Appeal deadline, all of which are 5 p.m. Monday, April 1. For more information, visit www.kellogg.edu/financial.
