Kellogg Community College students seeking financial aid for the Spring or Summer 2013 semesters have until 5 p.m. Monday, April 1, to meet the latest financial aid deadlines. Immediate financial aid deadlines include:
- Spring Only Loan Request: Students who wish to request a loan to pay for their Spring 2013 semester studies must do so by the deadline.
- Summer Priority Processing (FAFSA): Students wishing to take advantage of priority processing for their financial aid for the Summer 2013 semester must submit their Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) by the deadline. By submitting all financial aid materials with correct and complete information by the priority processing deadline, students allow for adequate processing time in order to determine their financial aid eligibility by the beginning of the semester.
- Spring Satisfactory Academic Progress Appeal: All students receiving financial aid from federal and state sources must be making satisfactory academic progress at KCC. Students who have not met SAP guidelines for the Spring 2013 semester have the right to appeal for continued eligibility but must do so by the deadline.
In addition to the immediate deadlines listed above, the Summer Priority Processing deadline for all financial aid documents is 5 p.m. Monday, April 8.
