Chantale Moore and Rolonda Petty, both of Detroit, have signed National Letters of Intent to play women’s basketball at Kellogg Community College and will begin playing for the Bruins next season.
Both women attended Clintondale High School, where Petty averaged 16 points, nine assists and seven steals per game. Petty was named to the First Team All-League and Second Team All-City teams and was an All-State Honorable Mention.
“Rolonda is a very skilled point guard and shooting guard who will continue to excel here at Kellogg,” said Kyle Klingaman, head coach of the women’s basketball team at KCC. “She brings intensity with her style of play and we look forward to her helping our program to succeed.”
Moore averaged 15 points, five steals and four assists per game at Clintondale, also earning honorable mention honors.
“Chantale is a very athletic young lady and we look forward to her becoming a vital asset to our program,” Klingaman said.
