Scheduled for Monday, Sept. 9, 2013:
- The art exhibit “Gates of the North,” by artist and adjunct art instructor Donald W. VanAuken, opens in the Eleanor R. & Robert DeVries Gallery in the Davidson Visual and Performing Arts Center on KCC’s North Avenue campus in Battle Creek. - Bruin Blast, KCC’s annual welcome back event for students, will be held from 10:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. by the reflecting pools at the entrance of the KCC’s North Avenue campus in Battle Creek. Stop by for free food, entertainment, T-shirts, games, prizes, information and resources and more!
- The opening reception for Donald W. - KCC’s Paralegal Student Association will sponsor a Constitution Day event from 1 to 4 p.m. Tuesday, Sept. 17, that will include District Judge Michael Schipper as a guest speaker.
- The music area at KCC will host a Music Open House from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. Monday, Sept. 23, and Wednesday, Sept. 25, during which times interested persons may sit in on a number of classes on topics ranging from private lessons to performance ensembles. - Financial aid refund checks will be mailed on Friday, Sept. 27, except for first-time borrowers; refund checks for first-time borrowers will be mailed on Friday, Oct. 4.
