Women’s soccer falls 0-4 to Cincinnati State Tech

The Kellogg Community College women’s soccer team dropped their third straight home game in as many weeks to Cincinnati State Technical and Community College on Saturday, falling 0-4 and bringing their overall record to 1-3.

The Bruins took got just seven shots on goal to Cincinnati’s 18.

Freshman goalkeeper Sarah Ward, of Quincy, kept the net for KCC all 90 minutes and had 10 saves.

The Bruins’ next game starts at 4 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 11, against Indiana Tech at home on the soccer field on KCC’s North Avenue campus in Battle Creek. Admission is free.
