Kellogg Community College Theatre’s fall production of Larry Shue’s comedy “The Nerd” opened last Friday at KCC’s Binda Theatre, 450 North Ave., Battle Creek.
The play continues with additional performances at 7:30 p.m. this Friday and Saturday, Oct. 18 and 19, and with a 3 p.m. show on Sunday, Oct. 20.
Admission is $5 for students, KCC employees and seniors and $10 for the general public.
“The Nerd” is about a man named Willum whose life was saved in battle by a man he never met, named Rick. After Willum writes to Rick expressing his gratitude, Rick shows up at Willum’s apartment and is found to be a hopeless nerd who proves difficult to get rid of.
