General Kellogg Community College Foundation Scholarship applications for the 2014-15 academic year will be accepted through 5 p.m. Friday, Feb. 28.
General KCC Foundation Scholarships are awarded to current and incoming KCC students based on financial need and/or academic achievement and/or field of study.
Students interested in applying can view criteria and guidelines online at www.kellogg.edu/foundation/schFoundation.html or call the KCC Foundation office at 269-965-4161 for more information. Scholarship awards can be used only for KCC tuition, fees and books.
The KCC Foundation offers several other scholarships each year to fund academic study at KCC, including the KCC Trustee Scholarship for graduating high school seniors within the College’s district; the Walter and Lucille Harper, the Virginia M. Hensley and the Robert F. Hites transfer scholarships for graduating KCC students; and the prestigious Gold Key Scholarships awarded to full-time KCC freshmen.
The application deadline for the Trustee and Transfer scholarships is 5 p.m. March 14; the Gold Key Scholarship application deadline was in January.
The KCC Foundation initiates and encourages philanthropy in partnership with the College and creatively and enthusiastically supports the realization of the College’s goal of providing educational excellence to all. The Foundation awarded more than $660,000 worth of scholarships to students for the 2013-14 academic year.
