Kellogg Community College women’s volleyball players and coaches will lead two Summer Volleyball Camps for youth late this summer.
The volleyball camps – including a Beginning & Intermediate Levels camp for players going into third through sixth grades and an Advanced Level camp for players going into seventh through 12th grades – will be held at KCC’s Miller Physical Education Building on the College’s campus at 450 North Ave., Battle Creek.
Details about each camp are below.
Beginning & Intermediate Levels
9 a.m.-3 p.m. Monday-Thursday, July 28-31
This volleyball camp will focus on the fundamentals of the sport: blocking, hitting, passing, serving and setting. Open to anyone going into third through sixth grade.
Advanced Level
9 a.m.-3 p.m. Monday-Thursday, Aug. 4-7
This volleyball camp will focus on preparing players for their volleyball team tryouts, covering advanced blocking, hitting, passing, serving and setting skills. Open to anyone going into seventh through 12th grade.
The cost for each camp is $100, due upon registration. Participants should bring their own lunch to each session.
