KeAyra Petty of Detroit has signed a National Letter of Intent to play women’s basketball at Kellogg Community College and will begin playing for the Bruins this season.
Petty, a graduate of Lincoln High School, played three years of varsity basketball and was a Macomb County All-Basketball Tier 2 Honorable Mention. Petty also ran four years of varsity track.
Kyle Klingaman, head coach of KCC’s women’s basketball team, said Petty will play at the forward-center position for the Bruins.
“KeArya is a great fit for the KCC women’s basketball program,” Klingaman said. “She is an athletic player who comes from a very competitive league. I anticipate her strong defensive ability and rebounding skills will be an asset to this year’s Lady Bruins team.”
