Bruin Blast welcome back event is Sept. 17

Bruin Blast, Kellogg Community College’s annual fall kick-off event for students, will be held from 10:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 17, at the reflecting pools area at the front of the North Avenue campus in Battle Creek.

The event is free for students with a current KCC student ID and includes free food, T-shirts, entertainment, games, prizes and more. College staff, student leaders and representatives from various community organizations will also be on hand to provide information about KCC departments, student organizations and community resources.

Welcome events will also be held at KCC’s regional centers on the following dates:

  • 4:30 to 7 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 18, at the Grahl Center in Coldwater. This event will be held in conjunction with the Grahl Center’s 20th Anniversary Celebration.
  • 4:30 to 6 p.m. Tuesday, Sept. 23, at the Fehsenfeld Center in Hastings.
  • 4:30 to 6 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 24, at the Eastern Academic Center in Albion.
  • 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 25, at the Regional Manufacturing Technology Center in Battle Creek.
